Schedule of Events

Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011
7 p.m. Captains Meeting at Coconut Tree Restaurant
4-8 p.m. Registration ( all boats must be registered with the Tournament Committee and the entry fee paid to qualify for prizes and trophies. You must also have your permits, licenses and registrations in order with the local authorities)

Thursday Sept. 15, 2011
6 a.m. Bimini Start from Half Moon Bay with a celebratory shot-gun flare!
Fishing hours are 6:00 a.m-5:00 p.m.

Friday Sept. 16, 2011
Fishing Day
Fishing hours are 5:00 a.m-5:00 p.m.

Saturday Sept. 17, 2011
Final fishing Day and award ceremony.
Fishing hours are 5:00 a.m-1:00 p.m.

Awards Ceremony at 7:00 p.m. at Coconut Tree Restaurant (This is grand fun with floats, entertainment, booths, Island Cuisine, Families and guests!

The Municipality of Roatan is backing the organization of the 12th Annual International Fishing Tournament 100%, to be held in West End, September 14 -17th by The Fisherman Association of Roatan.
The Association is also a member of the IGFA (International Game Fish Association).

This is the second year for the Catch and Release Program and we appreciate unanimous support in this event to protect and preserve the billfish population.

All IGFA Rules will apply during this tournament.

More sponsors are needed for the 12th Annual Fishing Tournament. There are a variety of levels of sponsorship from simple donations or different levels ranging from Elite to Silver Sponsorship. The Fishermen Association of Roatan is a NON-PROFIT group, depending mainly on your support to make this years Fishing Tournament on of the best ever!

Roatan.ws wishes everyone a safe and fun Fishing Experience as the 12th Annual Roatan International Fishing Tournament gets underway! Everyone is a winner who participates in the Catch and Release Program!
