Roatan Garifuna Folklore Punta Dance
The Roatan Garifuna play their drums and do the Punta Dance on West Bay beach during Easter
week or Semana Santa. The group is the Danza Garifuna Nuwa Vida.Punta is a dance where people form a circle around two
dancers a male and a female. There are two Garifuna playing drums while everyone else in the circle is singing. Enjoy the colorful costumes and learn the Punta Dance on your next trip to Roatan

Snow Balls in Roatan
These kids escaped the cold for a once in a life time Roatan vacation!
Being pros at making snow balls, they used their snow cone cups from Bananarama to mold this "sand ball" fortress. The parents gave these kids a white sand beach, crystal clear water, and freedom to use thier imagination. The kids gave their parents lots of fun, memories to last a lifetime, and great big smiles!

Natalie and Iguana
Natalie along with her Dora doll explore the wonders of Roatan Iguanas at Arch's Iguana Preserve in French Harbor. Not a bit afraid, Natalie fed and touched the big Iguanas. Upon her return, she told us "not to step on the Iguanas tails and don't wear "yellow" because they will think you are a banana"!

Chocolate Tree Carambola Gardens
Chocolate bars and candy kisses begin as a tiny white flower on the trunks of trees and branches of the Cacao Tree. These flowers in time grow into the chocolate bean pods as shown in the picture. Inside a mature bean pod you have 40 or more chocolate beans each surrounded by a white milky film that has a citric like flavor.
