Reef Etiquette

Caribbean coral reefs are in danger...but you can help. If you are planning a trip to a Caribbean reef, remember - never TOUCH, STEP, OR ANCHOR on the corals.

Snorkelers, please plan your entrance and exit points over sand. It is important to wear fins and start your snorkel against the prevailing current for a safe and easy return. Stay horizontal to the sea floor and adjust your mask and snorkel over sandy areas to avoid contact with corals. Have fun and enjoy meeting your new underwater friends.
