I just wanted to let you both know that with each book I sell I request to be informed about how or where the buyer heard of my work. Well better than 60% say that it is through your website (www.Roatan.ws), and I wanted to thank you for this. I very much appreciate your help.
All the best...dke

Good Morning Bob & Lynne,
My name is Sondra Hill.  My parents are Theodore and Maria Cooper from West End, Roatan with Roatan Boat and Tackle Shop and Catholic Mass on Saturday night.  I would like to thank you for giving me a window into the beauty and feel of the island.  My large island family continually  contributes to making Roatan what it is today!   Your website has given me a place to come to when I need a Roatan fix!!  I tell all my friends and family about it.  The photos and blogs are awesome!

Me and my husband are planning to come down towards the end of February and would love to meet you. Keep up the fantastic work!
Thanks again and have a Merry Christmas.

Hi Guys
I just wanted to say how much your weekly updates and photo’s cheer me up. I used to live on the Island 7 years ago, that is where my daughter was born and we haven’t been back for 5. Great to see Kristopher still out there and some familiar faces at the fishing tournament. The picture of the week brought  tears to my eyes. When I last dived (5 years ago), I was devastated at how much the coral had deteriorated in just a couple of years. It is looking great !!!!!!!!! I look forward to the next update (it is getting very cold in the UK) and keep up the fantastic work.
Kind Regards
Harriet & Charlotte
Love your site. It's a tribute to your love of the island. Your enthusiam is catching!

Thank you very much for that posting of the ‘Orange Icing Sponge’ (see photo) as picture of the week! It is nice to see a picture that one had so much fun taking appearing on your website. It is interesting to me that you have selected that particular picture as it is one that kind of jumped out at me after downloading it from the camera the day after the dive. I very much like what you’re doing in terms of putting up a picture of the week to showcase the many varied apects of life on Roatan. Really gives the outside world a view into Roatan and what makes it such a great and unique place!
Francis Swarts

We are frequent visitors to www.roatan.ws and stayed glued to the screen for updates on Felix and friends as they bounded toward our favorite destination and, luckily for the Bay Islands, decided to make landfall elsewhere.
Sherry Petraitis

You guys are the best ,to keep us so well posted.
Ron, Lisa and Jordan

GREAT site you have here......I just happened on it by accident looking for weather broadcasts of Hurricane Dean. I'm glad I found it ,though, because it's really informative and interesting (and you know I will be advertising our place there in the near future).
I really liked the photos. I hope the winds have not damaged the dock.......as soon as I saw the first picture, I said to Connor "that's our dock!!", then I saw the innocent bystander and knew it was your site.
I will be e-mailing you sooner though to talk about the rental.
Be well Georgia and Bill Wells

We just arrived back in Portland after a very long day of traveling. I wanted to tell you both how much John & I enjoyed our visit to the island & your hospitality. You both set a wonderful example of how to help people to enjoy their holidays to the max! You're an inspiration on how to change for the better & make a difference.
Thanks Lynne & Bob. You are both the best!
Tomie Timon

Bob and Lynne, Thanks so much for all the pictures and news on Independence Day in Roatan. I always enjoy your website! Laura

Bob & Lynne,
Once again, glad you were spared the worst of Felix. Accurate news is so hard to come by, just wanted to tell you that you were the best source of info I could find concerning Roatan. Keep it up, it's much appreciated. Soon you'll be replacing CNN !!
Thanks, and best wishes
Sid

Our thoughts are with you. Let us know any and all updates and if there is anything we can do.

Hang on to the roof. There is a sunset. We have been through three big ones. What’s the new structure being built at the Sundancer beach shown In your picture?
Bob & Shery

Thank you...we are praying for you. Our son, Josiah is esp. concerned. He survived Wilma while on a boat between Guanaja and the mainland. Thank you again for praying for him at that time. He will never forget hyperthermia, the smells, sounds, fear, etc.
Mary Ann

Hi Miss Lynne, It has been a long time since i spoke with you. I see you in your car going by. Concerning what you said, I have been watching it on the news and they don't mention us as if Roatan does not exist. The blessings of my God on you all.
Leston Mann

Thanks Guys!! YOU ROCK!!! Will pass the word on and on!

Your website is awesome!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, with any luck all the mosquitos and sand fleas will get blown away and nothing else.  Having lived through them before....4 in one summer, we know what you are up against.

Thanks Lynn and Bob for the update. Good luck to you both. I am thinking of everyone in Honduras. Hope to hear from you soon on the other side!
Sara, Jon & Finlay.

Dear Bob –
Pardon the random email but I came across your blog today as I was doing research for CNN’s coverage of pending Hurricane Felix. I hope you and your family are doing well and as I am reading, I understand you are still on Roatan Island. We are keen to speak to people who reside there and would very much like to speak to you by phone for an interview at some point throughout the evening.  Many thanks for your time.
Ebrahimji, Maria

Hi Bob and Lynne, I am watching weather channel as I write to you.  Thank you for this recent update.  I am going to your website alot....
Love, Paige and Steve

Lynne & Bob,
HOLD ON!!!! Tie yourselves down to something.  I am sending you stabilty vibes & calming nature thoughts.  HANG ON!!!! It will be OK. t2

Dear Friends,
Just caught up on your current news from Roatan.  is well.  Thank God Felix has spared the island of Roatan.  Hurricanes are so unpredictable that even the weather service has a hard time knowing where they are headed.  It sounded like you were all well prepared and with your preparations and our prayers you have been spared!  Thanks for keeping us all posted on your well-being.  I would rather hear from you about any damage than hearing it from newspapers and the media which tend to have many of the details mixed up!  Let's hope that the hurricanes will die down and stay at sea.
Looking forward to our two month vacation with you in January.
Ron and Gayle Myhre

Thankyou for your hard work to keep us informed about Hurrican Felix. I too was praying for the safety of the islanders, esp. the folks on Helene. Any work from that end of the island?
Dan
