Roatan spiny-tailed Iguana

The Roatán spiny-tailed Iguana (Ctenosaura oedirhina). Local folk call it "Wish A Willa" or just "Black Iguana". It is endemic to Honduras and the island of Roatán, for which it is named. It is often seen on the tropical beaches around the iron coral sunbathing! This photo was taken on the iron shore by the black rock at West Bay Beach.
