Shampoo Ginger in the Rain
Once green these waxy cones turn a lushious red color as they mature and then yellow flowers
begin to appear at the top. It is know as the shampoo ginger becasue of the milky substance
in the cone which is used commercially in Hawaiian and Asian shampoos.
